World Café

The World Café event gets participants from different interests to discuss regarding current trends and issues with our psychology experts.

The World Café events are created to encourage open communication and discussion regarding current and emerging topics and issues. The reality is that the field of psychology is becoming more diverse and technological advancements are changing the way we research, teach and practice. These World Café events aims to challenge current issues, trends and news, and get our community involved in the discussion.

You’ll move from table to table in a cafe-style format, as we gather our psychology academics to lead discussions by sharing their expertise and insights on some of the most pressing events and issues.

You will share ideas on how psychologists are changing the world, especially as we dive into the fourth industrial revolution. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the different aspects of psychology and applied psychology, meet other likeminded individuals and to find opportunities for your own potential contribution within the field of psychology.

At the end of sessions, we hope to demonstrate the role of psychology and how it impacts the lives of everyone. We want to empower others to see how psychology is changing and contribute in building changes in the world.

The topics that we have featured in our first World Café event:

  • Psychology in the Virtual Classroom
  • Employability Post Covid-19: Tips and Suggestions
  • Love and Loss in Times of Pandemic
